St Joseph’s RC Primary School Achieves UNICEF Gold: Rights Respecting Schools Award
St Joseph’s RC Primary School is delighted to announce that we have been awarded the UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA) Gold, the highest level of recognition given by UNICEF UK. This prestigious achievement recognises our whole‑school commitment to putting children’s rights at the heart of everything we do.
Celebration of the word
During Holy Week, children across the school have played a central role in leading prayer and reflection, guiding our community through the key events of Jesus’ journey to the Cross.
Easter Fun Run to Celebrate the End of Term
We are looking forward to a lovely final day of term. Our school will be holding it's Easter Fun Run for all pupils on the last day of term, Thursday 2nd April. This special event is a fun and festive way to finish the spring term together.
KS2 SATs 2026 – Official Dates Announced
Our Year 6 pupils will be taking their Key Stage 2 SATs in May 2026, and the Department for Education has now confirmed the full timetable. The tests will run from Monday 11th May to Thursday 14th May 2026, with pupils assessed in English and mathematics across the four-day period.
